DLRZ Bookkeeping

Marilyn is an accomplished financial analyst, offering experience in accounting, taxes, project and office management, real estate development, audit tracing and general financial services.  She has extensive experience working in a variety of industries including, construction, fitness, retail, and other professional services, with an area of expertise in not-for-profit associations/organizations, real estate, and land development.  

In 2004, Marilyn founded DLRZ Bookkeeping, a bookkeeping, administrative, tax, and financial consulting services firm.

With Lou Zimmerle, Marilyn began working in land devleopment in 2005.  She assists in the construction accounting, budgeting, finance and marketing aspects of development projects in California, Nevada and Texas.  Marilyn has served as bookkeeper and office manager for De La Rosa Zimmerle, LLC where she has provided financial consulting on residential and commercial development projects in the Greater Sacramento Area, as well as worked on business consulting and training contracts. 

Highlights in her career include working with several highly successful not-for-profit organizations in the Sacramento Area, including the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Festival de la Familia, California Center for Cooperative Deveopment, California Association of Public Authorities, NAMI California and the Strauss Festival of Elk Grove. 

Marilyn graduated from California State University at Sacramento with a degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting.  She has also studied real estate and child development, and is a California licensed real estate agent.  She currently resides in Elk Grove with her husband and three children.
